“Empire Girls”
Back when nobody knew our names
Read the lyrics
Back when nobody knew our names
Just girls from Calabasas chasing bigger dreams
Camera flashes, borrowed fame
Nobody saw the empire that was taking shape
She carried bags down Rodeo Drive
Now she owns the room wherever she arrives
From reality to royalty
They said it wouldn't last — they didn't know us at all
One by one we claimed our throne
Built it all from nothing we could call our own
Haters wrote the headlines
We just wrote the checks
From 2007 to now
Look how far we've come, look what we found
They tried to dim our light
But baby we just burned bright
Empire girls, we don't bow
Look how far we've come, look at us now
Khloé found her strength through every storm
Kourtney built her world on her own terms
Kendall walked the biggest runways
Kylie turned her lips into a legacy
One by one we claimed our throne
Built it all from nothing we could call our own
Mama had the vision
We had everything
From 2007 to now
Look how far we've come, look what we found
They tried to dim our light
But baby we just burned bright
Empire girls, we don't bow
Look how far we've come, look at us now
They said we'd fade away
Fifteen minutes, that was all they gave
But every single year
We just got louder, we just got louder
From 2007 to now
Look how far we've come, look what we found
They tried to dim our light
But baby we just burned bright
Empire girls, we don't bow
Look how far we've come
Look at us now
